We recommend flying into Houghton County Memorial Airport (CMX), also known as Hancock Airport<\/a>, located 15 minutes driving distance from downtown Houghton. It is served twice a day by United Airlines<\/a> flights (connections via Chicago O’Hare). <\/p>\n\n\n\n Limited rental cars are available at the airport (if booked in advance). there is no taxi stand or public transport at the airport, so please schedule your ride in advance. If there is sufficient interest, we will try and organize airport pickup\/drop-off for meeting attendees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Alternative airports include Marquette, Green Bay, and Iron Mountain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n See here<\/a> for more details about traveling to Michigan Tech by car.
